With a little help, the winner of Tuesday’s star-studded match of international supersquads will earn a trip into the Round of 16. Madrid and PSG both sit atop Group A with seven points and a win, coupled with a Malmo loss to Shakhtar Donetsk, would seal that team’s fate with two games remaining in group play.
PSG will welcome back Brazilian David Luiz to the lineup, and that’ll help against the Madrid onslaught. Above all Madrid’s weapons, the most important performance will come from Costa Rican national Keylor Navas. The 28-year old has had a fantastic start to his UCL career, keeping a clean sheet through his first three matches.
