The Washington Redskins are in control. But the real question is, can they stay in control?

The top team in the NFC East needs to keep winning in order to control their postseason destiny, but Sunday’s matchup against the Buffalo Bills may make that difficult. After all, the Bills are desperately trying to stave off their own postseason fate. A loss would put Buffalo on the outside looking in and that’s certainly something the squad would like to avoid.

So this one might not exactly be easy. That’s why the two teams come into the Week 15 tilt as even according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.

So, who’s got the edge?

Let’s give the slim one to Washington right now. After all, the Redskins have only lost once at home this season and come into the game 4-2 ATS in their last six games at home.

Unfortunately for Washington, despite the home field advantage this season, history has not been kind when it comes to games against the Bills. The Redskins are 0-5 SU and ATS in their last five games against Buffalo. That’s good news for Buffalo’s postseason hopes.

After all, the Bills have not been good bets when it comes to recent history.

Buffalo is 1-3-1 ATS in its last five games on the road and 1-4 SU in those same last five games. All in all, that makes this one a fairly confusing matchup to bet on.

The total for the 1 p.m. kickoff between Buffalo and Washington is set at 44 points according to the sportsbooks. The total has gone UNDER in four of the last six games between the two squads, but OVER in four of the last five games when played in Washington. On the flip side, the total has gone UNDER in five of Washington’s last seven games at home.

The OddsShark computer is predicting a 23.9 – 21.5 Washington victory.
