Florida State quarterback Sean Maguire injured his ankle late in the first quarter of the Peach Bowl. He came up awkwardly on his ankle and was not able to put any weight on it. J.J. Cosentino came in for Florida State.
In the video below you can see Maguire say, “It snapped.”
This is not good news for Seminoles fans. We will continue to update this as more info is released.
The Seminoles were already shorthanded at quarterback with Everett Golson not traveling with the team.
J.J. Cosentino is a red-shirt freshman quarterback for the Seminoles and is in the game for the Seminoles. Maguire is on the sideline warming up with his ankle heavily taped.
