First, the Texas A&M quarterback situation. After two of the top QBs in the country transferred out of the Aggies program earlier this month, the starting job has all but fallen into Jake Hubenak’s lap and he’ll get his first snaps under center as the team’s starter tonight.
Let’s not forget Louisville’s quarterback either. Lamar Jackson is a 6-3, 196-pound freshman who is nothing short of electrifying when tucks the ball and runs. He’s posted four games this season with 100 yards rushing and 100 yards passing. That’s good and that’s fun to watch.
It’s not a particularly mainstream offensive battle, but there is no shortage of storylines here. Kickoff for the bowl game tilt is slated for 7 p.m. ET and is being nationally broadcast on ESPN.
