The Arkansas Little Rock men’s basketball team has seized the nation’s attention after its dramatic two-OT victory over Purdue in the Round of 64 on Thursday.

And for good reason.

The Trojans are exactly why we care about the NCAA Tournament. They’re the little team that could. A school some of us didn’t even know existed until we turned on our TVs on Thursday.

That, however, does not make them favorites in Saturday night’s game against Iowa State. Quite the opposite in fact.

Iowa State vs. Arkansas Little Rock Betting Info

Spread: Iowa State – 6.5

Over/Under: 145.5

Moneyline: Iowa State – 280

Ok, so Arkansas Little Rock, probably, isn’t going to win this one. But. The Trojans have a habit of being a pretty darn good bet.

Seriously.

This team, which broke everyone’s brackets in the Round of 64, is 7-1 ATS as underdogs. They’re 6-1 ATS as underdogs this season. Here’s another fun fact. Little Rock is 9-0 SU in their last nine against teams with a winning record. That, well, that is surprising.

It will be interesting, however, to see how Little Rock handles Iowa State’s shooters. The Cyclones hit 50 percent from the floor on Thursday and the total has gone OVER in seven of their last nine, with games closing in at 146 or more each time.

Little Rock has done a good job this year of shutting down opponents, holding nine of is last ten to fewer than 70 points, but this Cyclones team has a good chance to break that trend.
