After two blowouts on Tuesday, this week’s Champions League action wraps with Barcelona’s massive comeback attempt. After Wednesday’s action, four of the eight spots in the quarterfinals will be filled.

On Tuesday, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich each took care of business to advance to the next round. Defending champions Madrid conceded an early goal in Napoli, but got two goal in short succession from Sergio Ramos to secure a 6-2 win after both legs. Madrid have now won seven straight Round of 16 ties.

In London, it was a night to forget for Arsenal. A red card to Laurent Koscielny opened the game up for Bayern, who cruised to a 5-1 victory. That’s an identical scoreline to the first leg, and the 10-2 result is the worst Champions League defeat for an English side in the history of the competition.

If Barcelona can’t complete the comeback, it’ll be their earliest UCL exit since 2007. It was almost a decade ago they were beaten by Liverpool, beaten in the Round of 16 on away goals.

The quarterfinal draw will take place on March 17. The eight qualifying teams will be randomly drawn against one another, regardless of the country.
