The SEC has long belonged to Kentucky, and while the No. 9 Wildcats are again favorites in the 2017 tournament, this year feels like there will be a bit more parity.
Florida has returned to national prominence after a couple of downs years, while several other teams have shown improvement, resulting in fewer blowouts and easy games for the ‘Cats. Overall, the SEC could potentially send six teams to the NCAA tournament (UK, Florida, South Carolina and Arkansas are likely in, while Vanderbilt and Georgia are on the bubble), which should make for a highly entertaining tournament in Nashville next week.
