That mindset carried through Love’s development. Instead of letting challenges hold him back, he embraced his uniqueness as a strength. “I feel like that particularness about myself has helped me to be a better football player,” Love said. “It gives me a lot of power over my own life.”

Just hours after his inspiring story was aired on College Gameday, Jeremiyah Love had 126 total yards and four touchdowns in the FIRST HALF of their game against Arkansas. Love led the Fighting Irish to a 56-13 blowout win over the Razorbacks.
So far this season, Love has been one of the best players in the entire country. Through four games, he’s run for 341 and five touchdowns, averaging 5.2 yards per carry. He also added 149 receiving yards and three touchdown catches.
Jeremiyah Love has earned recognition from coaches and analysts across the country as the best running back in the nation. With his blend of speed, agility and explosiveness, he’s projected by many to be the first running back taken in the 2026 NFL Draft.
