The 2026 ICC T20 World Cup for Cricket is nearly done with the group match phase. Team India has played all of its games, but one final match remains: Australia vs Oman.
The NFL and MLB might be in the offseason, but, much like the NHLers in the Winter Olympics, international cricket is alive and well.
It’s time to look ahead at the Super 8 schedule and the standout performers for their upcoming opponents.
Team India’s Schedule For Super 8 Matches, Semi-Finals, & Final
India finished the group phase with an undefeated 4-0 record. Here is their schedule for the Super 8s.
- February 22 – India vs South Africa – (India loss, 111 to 187/7)
- February 26 – India vs Zimbabwe – 6:30 AM Mountain Time
- March 1 – India vs West Indies – 6:30 AM Mountain Time
These teams that they are up against are not to be taken lightly. Zimbabwe is fresh off an exhilarating 182/4 to 178/7 victory against Sri Lanka in their final group match. They also snuck by Oman in their opening match by eight wickets, and followed that up by defeating Australia by 23 runs.
South Africa’s last two matches were great defensive victories. They defeated New Zealand by seven wickets and the United Arab Emirates by six wickets.
Once the Super 8s are complete, the top four teams will play in the semi-finals. The winner of those two matches will play in the championship final. Here is the schedule for those games:
