The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) claimed their first IPL trophy in 2025. They will launch the 2026 season by playing the opening match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are the most successful teams, each with five championships. Only the Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, and Punjab Kings are without a title.

Surprisingly, none of the 2026 World Cup Championship India team are on the RCB squad. However, several notable players from the World Cup are on the team.

Phil Salt, Romario Shepherd, Jacob Bethell, and Jacob Duffy are all suiting up for the reigning IPL champions this season.

Luckily for T20 cricket fans, they won’t have to wait a long time for the new season to get up and running.
