It is expected that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will make an appearance at the 152nd Kentucky Derby on Saturday May 2, 2026. The reason for their attendance is situated around their rumored ownership of the horse named The Puma. According to Parade, Speculation around their possible ownership of the Kentucky Derby contender has caused a monumental increase in attention on The Puma, which in turn has influenced the betting odds of the 2026 Kentucky Derby.
Fox Sports reports that the couple allegedly has a 10% stake in ownership of The Puma. The speculation around Swift and Kelce’s likely investment has caused enough of a stir to impact betting odds so much so that The Puma opened at +1000 this past week as the horse jumped up to fifth on the Kentucky Derby’s odds board. The Puma is currently situated at +800 and the A-List couple is very much attributed with this climb. In fact, social media activity around Swift and Kelce’s possible partial ownership of The Puma caused a +350 surge for The Puma as a betting odds favorite.
