UPDATE: The Warriors lost by a score of 114-101.
Before Monday’s game, the Warriors announced that Porzingis will remain out against the Clippers.
ESPN’s Anthony Slater wrote: “Kristaps Porzingis remains out tomorrow night for a fifth straight game with a general illness. Will Richard also out for the Warriors vs Clippers after spraining his ankle last night. Gary Payton II questionable.”

Porzingis has only played in one game since getting traded (via the Atlanta Hawks).
In that game, the former All-Star put up 12 points, one rebound, one assist and one block while shooting 5/9 from the field and 2/5 from three-point range in 17 minutes of playing time.
Before his short stint with the Hawks, Porzingis had been coming off a two-year run with the Boston Celtics that saw him win a title (in 2024).

The Warriors come into play as the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 31-29 record in 60 games.
They have won four out of their last ten games (and are 19-12 in 31 games at home).
Following the Clippers, the Warriors will play their next game on Thursday night when they visit the Houston Rockets in Texas.
Many fans will be eagerly waiting to see when Porzingis returns to action.
@CelticsForum wrote (on Sunday): “Kristaps Porziņģis is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2025-26 NBA season (this current season). The Celtics may be able to re-sign him on a cheap deal especially if he wants to come back and there’s a great chance he does. Low risk, high reward”

On the other side of Monday’s showdown, the Clippers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 28-31 record in 59 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games.
Following Golden State, the Clippers will play their next game on Wednesday night when they return home to host the Indiana Pacers in Los Angeles.
