The Broncos signed Bandy to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. The wide receiver from San Diego spent his 2024 campaign with the Broncos' practice squad and will now remain in Denver after inking a reserve/future contract with the team Wednesday. Bandy's most recent NFL action came with the Broncos in 2023, failing to record a stat across 10 total snaps (two offensive and eight on special teams) in one appearance. He's expected to compete for a depth role in Denver's wide receiver corps this summer.

Michael Bandy : Re-signs with Denver
The Broncos signed Bandy to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. The wide receiver from San Diego spent his 2024 campaign with the Broncos' practice squad and will now remain in Denver after inking a reserve/future contract with the team Wednesday. Bandy's most recent NFL action came with the Broncos in 2023, failing to record a stat across 10 total snaps (two offensive and eight on special teams) in one appearance. He's expected to compete for a depth role in Denver's wide receiver corps this summer.
Devaughn Vele : Held catchless in playoff debut
Vele failed to secure either of his two targets in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card loss to the Bills. Vele failed to record a single catch for just the second time this season while playing just 22 of the Broncos 42 offensive snaps against this Bills, his lowest snap total of the campaign. Despite the rough ending, the wideout turned in a solid rookie season. Vele finished the year with 41 receptions on 55 targets for 475 yards and three touchdowns across 13 games. The 27-year-old should continue to develop in head coach Sean Payton's system while potentially earning an even larger role in the Broncos' passing attack in 2025.
Jaleel McLaughlin : Non-factor against Bills
McLaughlin rushed twice for minus-2 yards and secured his lone target for zero yards in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card loss to the Bills. McLaughlin was not a big part of the game plan Sunday, playing just eight of the Broncos 42 offensive snaps in the contest behind teammate Javonte Williams (31) and ahead of Tyler Badie (3). The 24-year-old running back finished the 2024 regular season with 113 carries for 496 yards and one touchdown, a 24-76-2 receiving line on 27 targets and one lost fumble across 16 games. McLaughlin's carry total and rushing yards set career highs in both categories, as he saw his involvement in the ground game increase in his sophomore season. The Youngstown State product will enter his third season in 2025 with the opportunity to take a step forward in the offense. Williams will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so his possible departure could open things up for McLaughlin to step into a larger role in Denver's backfield. With that said, he'll likely continue to face competition from Audric Estime, Badie and any other running back that could be added through free agency or the draft.
Audric Estime : Mixed results in rookie season
Estime finished the 2024 regular season with 76 carries for 310 yards and two touchdowns while catching all five of his targets for 27 yards. He also committed two fumbles (one lost) across 13 games. Estime was inactive for the Broncos' wild-card loss to the Broncos, as Denver opted to go with a three-man running back rotation of Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie. The 21-year-old Estime was stuck in a committee in his rookie campaign, unable to separate himself as the go-to option in the Denver backfield. With that said, the Notre Dame product showed flashes in his limited opportunities throughout the season, so his continued development may help him attain a more secure role in his sophomore campaign. Williams could be in a new locale in 2025, as the veteran is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. His potential departure would leave Estime, McLaughlin and Badie competing to be Denver's lead back. It's also possible the Broncos will address the position in free agency or the 2025 NFL Draft.
Thomas Yassmin : Inks future deal with Denver
The Broncos signed Yassmin to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports. Yassmin signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent May 11, and he did not count against Denver's 90-man roster due to being designated as an international player exemption. He spent the entire 2024 season on the Broncos' practice squad, and while he wasn't elevated to the active roster, he'll have the whole offseason to hone his skills and compete for a spot on the 53-man roster for the 2025 campaign.
A.T. Perry : Staying in Denver
The Broncos signed Perry to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports. Perry made the Saints' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he didn't play due to various injuries before being waived by New Orleans in early October. He was signed to the Broncos' practice squad Oct. 8, but he wasn't elevated to Denver's active roster during the regular season. The 2023 sixth-rounder out of Wake Forest will participate in OTAs and training camp with the Broncos and work to earn a spot on the active roster for the 2025 campaign.
Tyler Badie : Two carries in wild-card loss
Badie rushed twice for eight yards in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card round loss to the Bills. Badie played just three of the Broncos' 42 offensive snaps in his first game back from a long stint on injured reserve due to a back injury suffered in Week 4. The 24-year-old running back missed the remainder of the regular season, finishing the year with just 11 carries for 86 yards while catching all three of his targets for minus-2 yards. Badie also lost one fumble in his three games played. The Missouri product remains under contract for the 2025 season, and he'll likely compete with fellow running backs Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime next season while Javonte Williams could be headed out of Denver as an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Broncos could, however, choose to sign a free agent running back this offseason or address the position in the draft, adding more competition ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Troy Franklin : Hauls in long TD in wild-card loss
Franklin caught two of three targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card round loss to the Bills. The rookie wideout got behind the Buffalo secondary for a 43-yard score on Denver's first possession, but it proved to be the only points the visitors would manage to produce. Franklin came into the NFL with more intrigue than a typical fourth-round pick given that he was reuniting with his college QB, but while Bo Nix thrived in his debut campaign, his top target at Oregon had trouble gaining separation against pro defenders. Sunday's long TD offered a reminder of Franklin's potential, but even if the young WR heads into training camp physically ready for a Year 2 breakout -- he doesn't turn 22 until early February -- target volume could still be hard to come by as the No. 3 or No. 4 option in the passing game.
