Mattison rushed the ball 14 times for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-13 loss to the Steelers. He added five receptions on five targets for 32 yards. Mattison served as the lead back for the second consecutive week in the absence of Zamir White (groin). He accounted for the majority of his production on the Raiders' first offensive possession, during which Mattison recorded 25 yards on the ground while also recording his touchdown. If White is sidelined again for a Week 7 matchup against the Rams, Mattison should have the ongoing chance to be productive thanks to projected volume.
Bowers recorded nine receptions on 10 targets for 71 yards in Sunday's 32-13 loss to the Steelers. With both Davante Adams (hamstring) and Jakobi Meyers (ankle) sidelined, Bowers was able to serve as the Raiders' top pass catcher for the second consecutive week. Aidan O'Connell was hesitant to push the ball down the field, leaving Bowers to do the majority of his damage after the catch. While his stat line is impressive enough, he also served as the lead blocker on Alexander Mattison's touchdown run in the first quarter and had a one-handed catch wiped away by a penalty. Even once Meyers and potentially Adams return to the offense, Bowers has shown enough to maintain a significant role.
O'Connell completed 27 of 40 passes for 227 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 32-13 loss to the Steelers. O'Connell took over as the Raiders' starting quarterback and faced a tough test against the Pittsburgh defense. He got off to a hot start by leading Las Vegas to a touchdown on the team's opening possession, and he went 4-for-4 for 45 yards while working primarily in short areas of the field. While O'Connell remained accurate throughout the game, he was hesitant to push the ball downfield and had only one completion of more than 20 yards. Assuming he stays under center in Week 7 against the Rams, O'Connell could be a bit more aggressive, though expectations should remain in check.
Parham (foot) has left Sunday's game against the Steelers. Parham had previously been dealing with an Achilles injury, although this could be unrelated. The Raiders will be turning to Jordan Meredith to fill in at right guard.
Mattison is in line to lead the Raiders backfield Sunday against the Steelers with Zamir White (groin) inactive. With White on the pine Week 5 at Denver, Mattison started and earned a 57 percent snap share en route to 15 carries for 38 yards and two catches (on three targets) for 23 yards. Meanwhile, Ameer Abdullah handled 44 percent of plays, with most of his 51 yards from scrimmage coming on a 40-yard carry, though he did have a three-yard touchdown run. A similar breakdown of reps between Mattison and Abdullah likely will come to pass Sunday.
Munford (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Munford will miss his third straight game, leaving the Raiders without their starting right tackle once again. Delmar Glaze should continue filling in at the position.
Eichenberg (hamstring) is not playing against the Steelers, reports Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald. Eichenberg will be out of action for the second time this season, leaving the Raiders lighter on linebacker depth. Amari Gainer will be a likely candidate to see extra work in the Ohio State product's absence.
