The couple was wed in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada, on July 27, 2024, according to Vogue. Vogue reports that Lauren wore five different dresses during the ceremony.

McDavid starred in the debut season of FACEOFF: Inside the NHL, produced by Amazon Prime Video. The Oilers captain is one of three stars who own the lion’s share of the focus in episodes five and six.
“I would definitely say that I am an introvert,” McDavid said in the show, according to The Hockey News. “That causes more stress and anxiety. Off the ice, you have to deal with the media and the fans. It’s part of the job.”

4. He is Best Friends With Leon Draisaitl

McDavid is good friends with Oilers teammate Leon Draisaitl. Draisaitl was one of two Oilers teammates to be his groomsmen when he tied the knot with Lauren.
In the summer of 2025, Draisaitl married actress Celeste Desjardins. Once their wedding had concluded on August 2, they were joined by Connor and Lauren on their honeymoon, according to Dose.ca.
