EA Sports UFC 6 has added two new fighters to the game, with the additions of flyweight Kyoji Horiguchi and heavyweight Josh Hokit.

EA Sports UFC announced the additions on Thursday to the game’s roster of two of the most popular fighters in the UFC, who were surprisingly left off the game’s initial fighter roster.

“From Flyweight to Heavyweight, #UFC6 has you covered with two new Rostered Fighters… Kyoji Horiguchi and Josh Hokit join the roster. See how they stack up,” EA Sports UFC wrote on X.

Kyoji Horiguchi Is an Elite Flyweight

Horiguchi is the No. 8-ranked flyweight in the Meta UFC Rankings.

The 35-year-old Japanese native is in his second stint in the UFC. In his second go-around inside the Octagon, Horiguchi is 2-1 so far, with a submission win over Tagir Ulanbekov, a decision win over Amir Albazi, and a TKO loss to Manel Kape.

The loss to Kape halted Horiguchi’s path towards a flyweight title shot, as he may have been in line to fight for the belt had he won that fight. But with that loss, he needs to work his way back up the rankings to get back into title contention in the stacked UFC flyweight division.

Josh Hokit Is a Heavyweight on the Rise

As for Hokit, he is one of the newest heavyweights to the UFC, having made his debut for the promotion just last November. However, he has quickly made a name for himself, as Hokit is already 4-0 in the UFC and ranked as the No. 6 heavyweight in the Meta UFC Rankings.

In his UFC debut late last year, Hokit knocked out Max Gimenis in a Performance of the Night-winning showing. He then followed it up by winning another Performance of the Night bonus in his TKO win over Denzel Freeman.

In Hokit’s third fight, he became a true UFC heavyweight contender when he beat Curtis Blaydes via unanimous decision in a Fight of the Year candidate at UFC 327 in April, winning two post-fight bonus awards. He then followed that up with a TKO win over Derrick Lewis at UFC Freedom 250 in June.
