Bernard (pectoral) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report. Bernard was working on the side during practice last week, so this seems like a step in the right direction for the Baylor product. The likelihood of him suiting up this Sunday against the Texans will be clearer if he can turn in a full practice Thursday or Friday.
Johnson (forearm) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report. Johnson's participation during practice is a step in the right direction, as he had been logging DNPs since suffering the injury in Week 1. He'll work to ramp up his activity level Thursday or Friday and ultimately increase his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Texans.
Rapp (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report. Rapp suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Ravens and will now have to make his way through the league's five-step protocols to gain clearance to return to the field. He'll likely need to get on the field in some capacity by Friday to have a chance to play in Week 5 against the Texans.
Allen (back) was a full practice participant Wednesday. Allen dealt with soreness after Sunday's loss at Baltimore but doesn't have any limitations at practice three days later. He'll be good to go this Sunday, drawing another matchup against an AFC heavyweight in the Texans.
Shakir (ankle) isn't practicing Wednesday, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports. Shakir played a full game Sunday night at Baltimore but apparently injured his ankle somewhere along the way. He's been the de facto No. 1 for a spread-the-wealth Buffalo passing attack, with his 19 percent target share and 230 receiving yards leading the team. An absence for Sunday's game at Houston would leave more snaps for Marquez Valdes-Scantling and/or Curtis Samuel while increasing the target projections for Keon Coleman and Mack Hollins.
Davis rushed seven times for 11 yards in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens. Davis played just 10 of the Bills' 59 offensive snaps in the contest, behind both James Cook (33) and Ty Johnson (11). In addition, Sunday's game marked the first time in which Davis didn't record a reception. Though the rookie is the clear handcuff to James Cook, the Kentucky product holds little standalone value for fantasy. Davis will look to get more involved in Week 5 when the Bills visit the Texans.
Hollins caught one of six targets for five yards in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens. Despite seeing a season-high six targets in the contest, Hollins struggled to connect with quarterback Josh Allen and was unable to produce much for fantasy purposes. The eighth-year wideout played 36 of the Bills' 59 offensive snaps Sunday, the second-most of any Buffalo receiver. Hollins' minimal involvement in Buffalo's offensive scheme make him a difficult bet for fantasy purposes. The 31-year-old will look to get more involved in Week 5 when the Bills visit the Texans.
