Dustin lets his emotions get the best of him…

According to The Mary Sue, Dustin Hoffman has a soft side for women who are treated unfairly based on their appearance. The actor takes women’s rights issues to a new level in his past interview with AFI that was recently dug up, during which he describes his experience attempting to dress as a woman — only to realize that he would, in fact, not be a very attractive one. This crushed him, as he admitted he would not ask out a woman if she looked like him in lady-form no matter how interesting of a person she may be. What Dustin was saying made him realize that if he was born a woman instead of a man, he would have a very different, sad life according to the oppressive and “brainwashing” rules of beauty in society.

Way to stand up for what’s right, Dustin!
