Tonight, Ohio State will look to make right the only blemish on their 2014 resume. Virginia Tech was the only team to defeat Ohio State during its 2014 championship run. The Hokies went on the road and defeated the Buckeyes 35-21 last season in front of a stunned crowd.
Blacksburg is one of the most difficult places for road teams to play at night. “Enter Sandman” plays at the beginning of the game and the crowd remains engaged from start to finish. While Ohio State comes in as the top ranked team in the nation, they will have an early test with the Hokies.
ESPN begins its coverage of the game at 7 PM ET with College Football Countdown. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will have the call starting at 8 PM ET.
