When Carson Palmer was healthy last season, the Arizona Cardinals looked like one of the best teams in the NFL. Thus far in 2015, the same is holding true.

Through two games, Palmer is completing 64.3 percent of his throws for 492 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception. Pro Football Focus’ grading system ranks his play fourth among QB’s behind only Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, and as ESPN’s Matt Williamson pointed out, the Cardinals (2-0) have been nearly unbeatable with him under center over the last handful of years:

In Week 3, the Cardinals will look to continue their red-hot play against divisional foe San Francisco. The 49ers (1-1) looked terrific in their opener against against the Minnesota Vikings but offered little resistance last week against Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The secondary will have to be better this week if it hopes to contain Bruce Arians’ vertical passing game.

Kickoff is at 4:05 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on FOX in San Francisco and Arizona, as well as other select areas throughout the country.
