Well, that was fun. A pair of Game 5’s on Wednesday afternoon and we’re just getting started this MLB postseason.

Hey, this is October, after all. Things are supposed to get a little bit crazy, right?

The Toronto Blue Jays clinched their spot in the ALCS with a 6-3 victory over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Royals are heading back to the ALCS after a 7-2 victory over the Houston Astros.

The Royals are the top seed on the AL side of the MLB postseason bracket so they’ll get homefield advantage throughout the series, looking to make a second straight World Series appearance and earn a chance to avenge last season’s loss. The series is also a rematch of the 1985 ALCS, which went seven games.

Deep breaths everyone, everything is about get even more dramatic.
