Two frustrated teams meet Sunday, both desperate for a win.

The Titans are halfway through a four-game homestand, and are 0-2 during that stretch. They’ve blown two fourth quarter leads in the process, and are searching for answers as a young football team.

Nobody is more desperate than the Dolphins. After a disappointing start to the season, head coach Joe Philbin was fired and replaced by tight ends coach Dan Campbell. Over the bye week, Campbell has attempted to bring a new spirit of toughness to the Dolphins. He’s made small changes, including increased hitting in practice and rearranging the locker room. His biggest task will be trying to revitalize the Dolphins running game, which has struggled so far this season.

While the microscope will surely be on the Dolphins sidelines this week, don’t ignore the Titans. Tennessee is a few plays away from being 3-1 instead of 1-3. Slow finishes have negated hot starts, and Marcus Mariota hasn’t yet developed that killer instinct. He’s tried to nail the coffin, but has thrown late interceptions in each of his last two games.
