College Gameday Reportedly Headed to Temple for Week 9

For the second straight week, ESPN College Gameday appears to be headed to a non-traditional location. According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, Gameday is headed to Philadelphia for the Notre Dame and Temple game.

Temple plays their home games at Lincoln Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Independence Hall could be the possible site for the Gameday set.

College Gameday broadcasted from FCS school James Madison in Week 8. Temple defeated East Carolina earlier in the week and is ranked 22nd in the country. Notre Dame had a bye this week and is ranked 11th in the country. The game will likely be the only Week 9 matchup featuring two ranked opponents. Georgia against Florida could be another possibility if Gameday does not head to Temple.
