Georgia running back Nick Chubb suffered a gruesome injury early in the game against Tennessee. Chubb was thought to be a Heisman candidate but this injury looks to be serious. He has been ruled out for the game and it could be serious.
For the second straight season, a Georgia running back has suffered a serious injury. Last season, Todd Gurley suffered a season ending injury and Chubb stepped in at running back with an amazing season.
There is no official word on the injury, but Georgia head coach Mark Richt said he believes he will be okay:
Mark Richt on Nick Chubb: “We’re sad that he’s hurt but I think he’s going to be OK in the long run, which is great.”
