Meet Baylor’s Chris Johnson

Baylor is down to their third string quarterback. Seth Russell injured his neck and was declared out for the season. Jarrett Stidham stepped in as the new starter.

Stidham started against Kansas State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Towards the end of the second quarter against Oklahoma State, Stidham began limping.

Chris Johnson entered the game at quarterback. Johnson is a red-shirt sophomore from Bryan, Texas. He played in four games during the 2014 season.

Johnson was moved from quarterback to wide receiver before the season started. Baylor moved him back to quarterback before the Oklahoma State game knowing Stidham was banged up.

According to Yahoo Sports, Johnson was a three-star recruit. His only offer aside from Baylor was from Utah.

Johnson got off to a great start after entering the game against Oklahoma State. He threw two touchdown passes on two straight series to start the second half.
