It’s just like the Colts drew it up.

With Pep Hamilton gone and Andrew Luck sidelined, it’s incredible to see the Colts still atop the AFC South. This week they go for a third straight win, and are a three-point favorite against the upstart Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It’s all about the age battle this week at quarterback. Matt Hasselbeck (40) was a freshman at Boston College when Jameis Winston (21) was born, but the two will oppose each other Sunday with both looking to guide their team to the playoffs.

What started as disaster has shaped into a solid rookie season for Jameis Winston. Winston has been all smiles as the Buccaneers look for their first three-game win streak this season, and are searching for Tampa’s first playoff berth since 2007. Winston has gone five of his last six games without a turnover, and threw five touchdowns last week in a 45-17 rout of the Eagles.

As good as Winston has been, it’s a solid week to bet on the Colts. According to OddsShark.com, Indianapolis has covered in five of their last six games, and is 4-0 against the spread in their previous four meetings with Tampa. They’ve also played pretty well at Lucas Oil Stadium recently, with a 13-5 straight up record at home.

The winner in this game will be the team that wins the turnover battle. Tampa Bay (3) has one of the league’s best turnover differentials, while the Colts have one of the worst (-6).

The OddsShark computer is predicting a 27 – 20 Buccaneers victory.
