Halloween carried over into a scary November for Manchester City.

They haven’t won a BPL match since then, riding a five-game winless streak into today’s meeting with Southampton. Several City players came back from the international break injured, and City is only now starting to regain form. David Silva will start for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, but they will be without England keeper Joe Hart, who suffered a hamstring injury during the midweek loss to Juventus.

If Hart was fit, this might be a great opportunity for City to bounce back. Southampton may have only loss twice in their last 12 across all competitions, but they’ll play at the Etihad without top striker Graziano Pelle. The Italian picked up his fifth yellow card last week, and will be replaced by Irish striker Shane Long.
