After playing to a scoreless tie two weeks ago, Madrid and PSG will meet at the Bernabéu for a chance at clinching advancement into the UCL Round of 16. With a Malmo loss on Tuesday, three points from this game will grant the winner smooth passage into the next round of Champions League play with two games remaining in group play. In all likelihood both teams will qualify, but both sides will want to ensure advancement early to prepare for the later rounds.
Brazilian David Luiz will likely return to the PSG lineup, and will add to a defense that will have it’s hands full on Tuesday. James Rodriguez is healthy and is on Madrid’s roster for Tuesday, adding a dangerous element alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Toni Kroos.
