Mexico’s path to the 2018 World Cup resumes Friday, and it’s all about Juan Carlos Osorio. The new Mexican manager has plenty of attacking options for tonight’s meeting with El Salvador, and it’ll be interesting to see who emerges between Raul Jimenez, Oribe Peralta and Javier Hernandez. LA Galaxy’s Giovani dos Santos is not on the Mexico roster at this time.

El Salvador hasn’t defeated Mexico since 2009, dropping four straight.

Mexico is the top-ranked team in CONCACAF, sitting 24th in the FIFA World Ranking. By comparison El Salvador is 94th, and Honduras, Mexico’s opponent in four days, is ranked 95th.
