So, Roman Reigns beat up Triple H. Again. He pulled him out of a car and punched him. Stephanie McMahon screamed.
WWE RAW was full of confrontations on Monday night and you can beat that there’ll be even more that on this week’s Smackdown, which was taped Tuesday night at TD Garden in Boston Massachusetts.
In addition to the repercussions of another Reigns beatdown on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are slated to appear on this week’s SmackDown. In other words, things are really ramping up for WrestleMania. Read on for a complete breakdown of this week’s results in the ring:
- Charlotte and Ric Flair appear in the ring to get things started. Then, surprise, Charlotte faces off against Sasha Banks in the first match of the night. And Banks wins. Decisively. Becky Lynch sat in on commentary during the match and jumped into the ring afterwards, dropping both Banks and Charlotte in the process.
- WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day cut a promo in the ring, but are, unsurprisingly, interrupted by The League of Nations. Sheamus goes on to defeat Kofi Kingston after dominating for much of the match. He wins with a Brogue Kick, thanks to some distraction help from King Barrett and Rusev.
- The Usos defeated The Ascension in a pretty quick match.
- The Dudley Boyz speak with Renne Young backstage and they trash talk everyone from The Usos and Rikishi to The Wild Samonas. Roman Reigns intervenes and challenges Bubba Ray Dudley to a fight.
- Sam Zayn and Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz and WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens. Stardust, Sin Cera and Zack Ryer also showed up and then The Miz attacked Owens. Everyone essentially came together to beat up on the champ.
- Roman Reigns vs. Bubba Ray Dudley ended in a double count out.
- AJ Styles defeated Tyler Breeze
- Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar appear in the ring and cut a promo for the WrestleMania match against Dean Ambrose. Heyman calls out Ambrose to fight, but The Wyatt Fammily comes out instead and surround Lesnar. But wait, there’s more. Ambrose does come out and, in a weird turn of events, teams up with Lesnar to take out The Wyatts.
