Zinedine Zidane has had plenty of Clasico experience as a player, but he’ll get his first taste form the sidelines today as he leads Madrid into Camp Nou for the first time as manager. The French football legend faced Barcelona 11 times while playing for Los Blancos, scoring three goals to accompany his 4-4-3 record. Zidane has stumbled in his first 15 games as top-flight manager this season, but he has almost the full squad to choose from today. Each team has only one major injury, and they both occured while on international duty for France.

Both Raphael Varane and Jeremy Mathieu were injured while training with France over the break, and that will play an impact in today’s Clasico. Mathieu has logged over 2,000 minutes for Barcelona this year, but will miss at least April with a torn meniscus. Raphael Varane came back to Madrid with a lesser knock, and his leg injury will keep him out of today’s match.

Madrid may hold the all-time series lead, but Barcelona have had all the success recently, winning four of the last six Clasicos,
