Here’s some not-so-braking news; the Dallas Stars are very good at scoring goals.

The top seed in the Western Conference cruised to a 4-0 victory over the Minnesota Wild in Game 1 on Thursday night and now the Stars are determined to keep the offense rolling.

We knew all of that already though.

What we didn’t know? Dallas can play defense when it matters too. Seriously. Kari Lehtonen made 22 saves in his second playoff shutout and gave the Stars a serious cushion that allowed the offense to play without worry.

Now, the Stars look to repeat recent history and jump out to a two-game lead in the first round of the postseason. Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m. ET and is being nationally broadcast in the United States on NBCSN.
