It took over three hours, but Chile only needed 11 minutes.

Rain delayed the second half of Copa America’s latter semifinal for two hours, but that didn’t slow down Chile, who defeated Colombia to return to the Copa America final.

Colombia had their chances, but were denied over and over again but the pressure and by keeper Claudio Bravo.

La Roja, coming off a 7-0 victory, did the same things that made them successful against Mexico. A forced turnover by Colombia put them on the break just minutes into the match, and a bouncing ball found Aranguiz to put Chile up early. Within minutes they doubled, as a long ball from Bravo set up the attack, punctuated by an open-net goal against Bravo.

Finals weekend features a pair of rematches, as Colombia drops to the consolation match against USA. All eyes will be on the 85th meeting between Argentina and Chile, where Messi goes for the first major tournament trophy of his international career.

Scroll down for highlights of every goal, and of the crazy weather that delayed the match for more than two hours:

The Teams Return & Colombia Quickly Go Down to 10

After over two hours, play has resumed at Soldier Field. It’s going to create some sloppy play, and force some tough decisions from the referee.

One such decision came in the 56′, when Carlos Sanchez was sent off after being shown his second yellow card.

Colombia have had some success in the second half, but this is devastating. Now they must combat Chile’s press with one less man on the field.

The Weather Has Until Midnight Eastern Time to Clear Up

LATEST: We are definitely finishing this match tonight.

Chile Look Unstoppable & Score Another

11 minutes in, Chile ahead 2-0.

Claudio Bravo is setting up goals now, sending a long ball from Chile’s own third in to Sanchez, whose shot was saved but fell to the foot of Fuenzalida. Chile are playing on another level right now, but there’s a lot of soccer left for Colombia to recover.

Aranguiz Continues Chile’s Hot Scoring Streak

Chile’s press works it’s magic early, and Chile have not slowed down the scoring pace. A turnover set up a long cross for Chile, and a Colombian defender inadvertently set up Aranguiz with the perfect opportunity. What a start for Chile.
