Cowboys vs. Giants Odds: Point Spread, Total & Prediction

The New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. According to OddsShark, the Giants enter tonight’s contest as a 3.5 point underdog.

The over-under is set at 46.5 points. Dallas has done almost as good against Vegas as they have on the football field. The Cowboys are 9-2-1 against the spread this season while the Giants are just 5-5-2.

The OddsShark computer likes the Cowboys chances of getting the road win. The computer projects a 25.6-20.2 Dallas victory. The computer is taking the Cowboys against the spread and the under on the point total.

New York has the distinction of being the lone team to defeat the Cowboys this season. The Giants won on the road 20-19 in Week 1. Dallas is a much different team than they were in the first game of the season. The Cowboys coaching staff have taken off the training wheels for rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott which has led to Dallas having the best record in football.

Dallas has won 11 straight games since their opening loss to the Giants. The Giants had won six straight before losing last week to the Steelers.

Like the computer, Heavy likes the Cowboys to get revenge in a low scoring affair. Dallas will be able to exploit the Giants run defense with a healthy dose of Elliott. We also like the under given the cold weather and both teams propensity to hit the under this season. The total has gone under in six of the Cowboys last nine games and five of the last six Giants games.

Heavy’s Pick: Cowboys 20 Giants 13. Cowboys -3.5. Under on the Point Total.
