The Raiders are the fifth seed and will travel to Houston to take on the Texans. Their loss to the Broncos combined with the Chiefs victory over the Chargers gave Kansas City the AFC West title.

The Chiefs owned the tiebreaker with their sweep of the Raiders this season. The game will take place on Saturday, January 7 at 4:35 p.m. Eastern on ESPN.

It will be a rematch of the Week 11 matchup where the Raiders came away with a 27-20 victory. It will be a much different look for Oakland without franchise quarterback Derek Carr.

Matt McGloin left Sunday’s game against the Broncos with a left shoulder injury. Rookie quarterback Connor Cook came into the game for McGloin. It remains to be seen who will start at quarterback against the Texans.

Houston has quarterback problems of their own. Brock Osweiler was benched weeks ago for Tom Savage, but Savage left Sunday’s game after being evaluated for a concussion. Houston has not announced who will start against the Raiders.

The Raiders started out Sunday with a chance at the number one seed in the AFC but dropped all the way to fifth.
