Oleksandr Usyk, who fought Joshua twice for the unified heavyweight titles, issued a serious warning to Jake Paul.

“If Anthony Joshua wants, he will kill this guy,” Usyk said. “Anthony Joshua is an Olympic champion, first. Jake Paul, yeah, a sportsman, a YouTuber, a showman. (Joshua is a) Rolls-Royce, (Paul is a) Fiat. Listen, it’s true. It’s just true.”

Former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder said that if the fight is “not scripted,” then Joshua should win.

Nate Diaz, who fought Jake Paul in August 2023, said, “I got my money on (Jake) Paul.”

Lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson said “hell no” when asked if he would bet on Paul to win the fight. However, he did acknowledge that Paul impressed him when they previously sparred.

Hip hop artist Fat Joe said that while he likes Paul, he is picking Joshua to “handle business.”

Other professional fighters, such as Tommy Fury and Roy Jones Jr., are also picking Joshua to get the job done on December 19.
