When Terence “Bud” Crawford is not in the ring, the star boxer enjoys being a father as the star has six kids with longtime girlfriend Alindra Person. Crawford also recently revealed on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast that he has a seventh child with another woman.
There have been questions about whether Crawford and Person are still together. Back in June, Crawford sent a cryptic message revealing that he is “single,” which seemed to indicate that the two are no longer involved romantically.
“I hate that now days you have to put s— on social media,” Crawford detailed in a June 2025, Instagram Story. “Look I am single so please stop saying I’m married because I (have) never been married or (ask) where my wife at.”

“Alindra Person and Terence Crawford aren’t married, but they’ve been together since the early 2000s,” The Sun detailed in a September 9, story titled, “Who is Terence Crawford’s girlfriend and how many children do the couple have?” “They both met when they were young and have been in each other’s lives ever since.
“Person was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where Crawford also grew up. It’s not known what Person does for work, but she’s often seen supporting Crawford at his fights.”

Crawford cited two moments as key turning points in his life. The combination of surviving getting shot along with Person’s first pregnancy became key moments in Crawford’s decision to change.
“It happened so fast, you know. I got hit with the first shot in the back of my head,” Crawford explained in a previous interview with HBO that resurfaced in 2020. “Well, the doctor said that the window had slowed it down and instead of the bullet going straight, it made it spin, you know, and when it hit me, it just hit me and bounced out.
“That was just a wake-up call. I talked to my family and everybody was just like, ‘You (are) blessed, you need to change your life.’ So, I just took heed in what they was all telling me,” Crawford continued.
“I was just like, all right, well, now it’s time for me to grow up and change. Then when my girl got pregnant, that was a whole other turning point. To me, being a father is the greatest thing that could have happened to me because I wouldn’t want my kids to grow up like I grew up. It’s a blessing that I can even be here supporting them like I am today.”
Crawford is likely hoping that he can celebrate an upset victory over Canelo Alvarez with his seven kids as the star enters the match as an underdog.
