The Arizona Diamondbacks got news about Ketel Marte during their new series against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Diamondbacks had a strong opening game against the Reds. They had strong performances from Corbin Carroll, Gabriel Moreno, Jordan Lawlar, and Taylor Clarke to secure a 9-0 victory.
Ketel Marte Spotted Gambling at the Talking Stick Resort
Reportedly, Marte was spotted gambling at the Talking Stick Resort on Friday night.

Marte was recently moved to the IL after being placed on the restricted list. The 32-year-old second baseman recorded 21 home runs prior to this injury.

Following the Diamondbacks’ victory, manager Torey Lovullo reacted to the news regarding Marte being at the Casino.

“Yes, he has been there for four hours, this is a terrible look. NOT illegal not breaking any laws but come on. Team is battling for their playoff lives and you are supposed to be hurt, and you spend four hours at the Casino sitting standing, sitting, standing. Stay home! The Marte act is old and tired, and it needs to end ASAP,” Gambadoro shared.

The second game will feature a pitching battle between Rhett Lowder and Michael Soroka. The Diamondbacks come into the game with a 68-61 record.
