Earlier this week, Dustin May was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers (via the St. Louis Cardinals).
May had been in the middle of his first season with the Cardinals.
He went 5-7 with a 4.38 ERA in 21 starts.
The Cardinals wrote (via X) on August 3: “We have acquired OF Alexander Frias and OF Josiah Ragsdale from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for RHP Dustin May and LHP JoJo Romero.”

May was picked in the 3rd round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
He had spent seven seasons in the MLB with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox (and Cardinals) before the trade.
Over 92 career games, May has gone 24-27 with a 3.99 ERA.
