Kristaps Porzingis has missed each of the previous three games, so there is a lot of attention on his status for Saturday’s meeting with Los Angeles.

Porzingis was traded to the Warriors (via the Hawks) earlier this month.

This season, the 2018 NBA All-Star is averaging 16.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 46.1% from the field and 36.3% from three-point range in 18 games.

He has played in just one game for Golden State, finishing with 12 points, one rebound, one assist and one block while shooting 5/9 from the field and 2/5 from three-point range in 17 minutes of playing time.

Danny Emerman of The San Francisco Standard wrote: “Kristaps Porzingis, who missed the Warriors’ midweek, road back-to-back, participated in practice today in SF, Steve Kerr told reporters. Porzingis has played in 17 of 336 possible minutes since joining the Warriors via trade.”

Porzingis was the fourth pick in the 2015 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks.

In addition to the Knicks, Hawks and Warriors, he has also spent time with the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards over 11 seasons.

When healthy, Porzingis is one of the most uniquely talented players in the league.

They are an impressive 19-11 in 30 games at home.
