However, the Chiefs-Raiders matchup still drew a lot of attention as it might’ve been tight end Travis Kelce’s final NFL game. After 13 seasons, one of the greatest tight ends of all time may be ready to hang up his cleats for good.
Fans hoped to see his fiancée, Taylor Swift, at Allegiant Stadium for the matchup, but she didn’t appear to attend. Due to reported security reasons, the pop star hasn’t attended a regular-season road game since the 2023 season.

Swift most recently attended the Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day. While leaving Arrowhead Stadium, the billionaire tipped workers on the way out. One stadium employee gushed over the singer on Facebook, noting how she wished everyone a Merry Christmas before handing out $600 cash.
While “The Life of a Showgirl” songwriter kept a noticeably lower profile at Chiefs games this season, a rare photo emerged of her at a team party that caused fans to do a double-take.

Chiefs linebacker Leo Chenal’s wife, Randi Chenal, reflected on highlights from the past season in a new Instagram post on January 5. In slide 6, she posted a photo with Swift from the Chiefs’ Christmas party.
While Randi tagged Swift in the photo, numerous fans couldn’t believe it was her. Maybe because the 36-year-old ditched her signature red lipstick for a maroon color, posts filled X with people guessing that it was a Swift look-a-like.
One fan commented on X, “Why does this not look like Taylor tho?” Another person claimed, “It’s just Ashley,” referring to popular Swift impersonator Ashley Leechin. One woman gushed, “That’s NOT Taylor.”
Most fans, however, were thrilled to see the 14-time Grammy winner enjoying time with her Chiefs community. One fan commented on Instagram, “Sweet pic of the two of them. ✨ Tay always looks stunning 🔥 beautiful inside and out ❤️.” Another person wrote, “Redwine-color suits our girl 🍷.”
Travis Kelce Plans to Announce His Retirement Decision Before March

Kelce promised to make his retirement decision before free agency starts in March. If he decides to walk away, the veteran wants the team to have ample time to find his replacement.
“Who knows? Who knows?” Kelce told reporters asking for a more specific retirement decision timeline after losing to the Raiders. “Either it hits me quick, or I gotta take some time. Last year was a little bit easier. I think I knew right away I wanted to give this one a shot. I don’t know. We’ll see.
“I’ve got so much love for this team, this organization and the people here. I’ll spend some time with them, go through exit meetings and get close to the family and figure things out.”
