Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is taking on a report that he filed for divorce from his wife, insisting there is no truth to the story and saying the pair are “happily married.”

Hill responded to the January 23 report from the Sun-Sentinel that claimed he had filed for divorce from wife Keeta Vaccaro just two months after the pair were married. The report claimed that court records from Broward County showed the divorce filing.

Hill took to X to respond to a post from the Sun-Sentinel, insisting there was no truth to the report.

“boy no the heck we didn’t so don’t put that in the air !!!” Hill wrote. “We are happily married and gone stay that way”

Report Claims Divorce Filing Came This Week

The Sun-Sentinel report claimed the divorce petition was filed on Monday by the wide receiver’s family law attorney, who is based out of Fort Lauderdale. The attorney had no comment on the issue, the report added.

The article included the filing, claiming grounds that the “marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”

The report added that it has been a trying time for the couple, who saw their mansion in Southwest Ranches catch on fire earlier this month. NBC Miami reported that the fire was caused by a child playing with a lighter. Afterward, Hill expressed relief that no one was injured in the incident.

“My wife’s good. Mom is good. And my nephews are good. So that’s all that matters, man,” Hill told reporters.

“Right now, man, it’s just a transition … I mean, but that’s what players do. Like we find a way to bounce back,” Hill added. “And that’s what life is — ups and downs, you have things happen, and you got to find a way to like adjust to adversity. So we just had like a slight adversity, and we’re gonna find a way to face it. And that’s what we’re doing now.”

Hill also expressed confidence that his family would be able to bounce back from the setback and believed it would bring him closer with his wife.

“Although it sucks to see you know, rooms you know destroyed and everything that you work for destroyed, it sucks, but my main thing was health,” Hill said. “Making sure that my kids are alright, and yeah, man this gives me and my wife a chance to get closer.”

Tyreek Hill Addressed Sad End to Season

Hill saw his team’s season come to an abrupt end in the playoffs. After holding a three-game division lead with five games to play, the Dolphins lost three out of those five and saw the Buffalo Bills take the division with a season finale win in Miami.

The Dolphins went into the playoffs as the No. 7 seed, losing in the wild-card round to the Kansas City Chiefs. After the loss, Hill sent a message to his teammates to use the disappointment as motivation.

“The message (this offseason) is simple. Whenever you’re working out, take this loss with you,” Hill said, via Dolphins reporter Marcel Louis-Jacques on X.
