Cowing (concussion) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Cowing was diagnosed with a concussion during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Seahawks after taking a hit to the head during a punt return. He'll have to clear the league's five-step concussion protocols in order to suit up against the Packers on Sunday.
Kittle (hamstring) relayed his intention to return to action Week 12, saying he'll "for sure" play Sunday at Green Bay, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports. Kittle missed this past Sunday's loss to the Seahawks due to hamstring irritation, but he's slated to be limited at Wednesday's practice, as coach Kyle Shanahan told Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News. That would mark Kittle's third capped session in a row dating back to last week, and he'll have two more chances to get back to full participation this week before the 49ers need to make a decision regarding whether or not he'll have a designation ahead of Sunday's contest.

Shanahan revealed Monday that Purdy emerged from the 49ers' Week 11 loss to the Seahawks with soreness in his right shoulder and was considered day-to-day. On Wednesday, Shanahan told David Lombardi of SFStandard.com that he isn't too concerned about the quarterback's availability for Sunday's visit to the Packers. Ultimately, Purdy's activity level Thursday and Friday may determine whether or not he heads into the weekend with a designation for that contest.
Coach Kyle Shanahan said Tuesday that Bethune sustained a sprained MCL during Sunday's game versus the Seahawks and will be out for a while, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Bethune was forced out of San Francisco's contest in Week 11 early by a knee injury, and it's now confirmed that it is a somewhat significant issue. He has contributed substantially on special teams so far this season, so the 49ers will have to try to find a way to replace his production in that phase until he's able to return.
Floyd tallied three tackles, including 1.5 sacks, in a loss to Seattle on Sunday. Floyd split a sack with Nick Bosa on Seattle's first offensive series and added a solo sack on the Seahawks' final drive late in the fourth quarter. It was the first time this season that the veteran pass rusher has gotten to the quarterback more than once in a game. On the campaign, Floyd has tallied 28 tackles, including 4.5 sacks, a defensed pass and a forced fumble over 10 games.
Lenoir recorded eight tackles (all solo) Sunday in a Week 11 loss to the Seahawks. Lenoir tied for the team lead in stops with Renardo Green. The eight tackles tied Lenoir's season-high mark, which he has established on three other occasions. Since Week 5, Lenoir has posted at least six stops in each of his six contests.
