France and Germany wasted little time taking control of their respective Round of 16 matches.
FIFA No. 3 France scored twice in the first 8 minutes en route to 3-0 win over South Korea, while top-ranked Germany jumped out to a 2-0 lead in a 4-1 victory over Sweden.
The nations now meet in a must-see quarterfinal among two of the world’s best teams.
