The Cowboys placed Diggs (knee) on injured reserve Saturday. Diggs has been dealing with a bevy of injuries this season that have limited his availability, and he's slated to undergo season-ending surgery to repair a knee cartilage issue. The 26-year-old still doesn't have a date set for when he'll undergo this procedure, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.com. No matter what, he's expected to have a long recovery timeline, which could impact his availability for the start of the 2025 campaign. In 11 games this season, Diggs totaled 52 tackles and 11 passes defended, including two interceptions. DaRon Bland and Amani Oruwariye should slot in as Dallas' starting cornerbacks for the final three games of this season.
Bass (thigh) is questionable to play Sunday against Tampa Bay, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. Bass was forced out of last Sunday's win against Carolina due to a thigh injury, and he logged a DNP/LP/DNP progression during practice this week. The second-year pro started last week at right guard to help cover for the absence of center Cooper Beebe (concussion), but with Beebe cleared to return this Sunday, Bass likely will return to a rotational role if he's able to suit up.
Edoga (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's battle against the Buccaneers, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. Edoga exited early from last Sunday's win over the Panthers due to an ankle injury. He began this week as a DNP but was able to log a limited practice Thursday before being estimated as a full participant in Friday's walkthrough. Edoga started each of the Cowboys' past two contests at left tackle over Tyler Guyton.
Beebe (concussion) practiced in full throughout this week and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. Beebe sat out last Sunday's win over the Panthers due to a concussion, but he's good to go for Week 16 after clearing the NFL's five-step protocol. His return to action likely means T.J. Bass (thigh) will move back to a rotational role if he's able to suit up Sunday.
Vigil (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bucs, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. After logging a pair of DNPs to start the practice week, Vigil was able to get in a limited sessions Friday. The veteran linebacker mainly plays special teams for Dallas. He hasn't seen any action on defense since playing eight snaps in Week 10.
