The Packers waived Diggs on Tuesday. Diggs joined the Packers in late December after being waived by the Cowboys. He played 33 defensive snaps against the Vikings in Week 18 when the Packers' starters rested, but he played just one defensive snap during Green Bay's NFC wild-card loss against Chicago. Per Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com, the Packers were open to restructuring Diggs' contract, and there's a chance that the 2020 second-rounder sticks around in Green Bay for at least the upcoming season.

Trevon Diggs: Breaking News
Move to Green Bay official
The Packers officially claimed Diggs off waivers Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Diggs will still need to pass a physical before his connection with the Packers is finalized, but that seems to be a foregone conclusion. Green Bay is headed to the postseason as the No. 7 seed in the NFC, so Diggs could be a major acquisition even if he doesn't play Week 18 against Minnesota. The Packers placed cornerback Nate Hobbs on IR on Wednesday, so Diggs figures to eventually help fill that void.
Claimed by Packers
The Packers are claiming Diggs off waivers Wednesday after he was waived by Dallas on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Diggs missed a total of eight regular-season games with the Cowboys in 2025 due to a knee injury, but he was healthy enough to suit up for each of the team's last two contests. Now in line to link up with the Packers, the former All-Pro cornerback will get a chance to bolster the secondary of a team preparing to make a hopeful run in the NFC playoffs. If Diggs does officially ink with Green Bay, it seems likely that he'll sit out the team's regular-season finale against Minnesota on Sunday, but it wouldn't be out of the question for him to contribute in the team's first playoff tilt.
