Johnson (concussion) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Broncos. Johnson missed Kansas City's Week 9 win over the Buccaneers due to a concussion sustained the week prior. However, the third-year pro was a full participant in practice throughout the week and has passed through the NFL's five-step protocol in time to play Sunday. Expect Johnson to serve as one of the Chiefs' top outside corners in Week 10.
Hardman (shoulder/knee) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos after practicing fully Friday. Hardman was limited both Wednesday and Thursday, but he's been cleared for Week 10 action after Friday's full session. With DeAndre Hopkins, Xavier Worthy and Justin Watson also in the Chiefs' wideout mix, Hardman carries limited fantasy lineup upside ahead of Sunday's contest.
Coach Andy Reid said Friday that Smith-Schuster (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Jesse Newell of The Kansas City Star reports. Smith-Schuster has yet to practice since aggravating a right hamstring injury during a Week 7 win at San Francisco on Sunday, Oct. 20. With his lack of availability confirmed for Week 10, he'll miss a third consecutive contest as a result, making a visit to Buffalo on Sunday, Nov. 17 his next possible game action. The Chiefs will continue to roll with DeAndre Hopkins, Xavier Worthy and Justin Watson as their key wide receivers in the meantime.
Karlaftis (abdomen) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Karlaftis was limited Wednesday but seems fine ahead of Sunday's date with the Broncos. On the season, Karlaftis has recorded 22 tackles (12 solo), including 4.0 sacks, 13 QB hits and two pass deflections.
Hardman (shoulder/knee) remained limited in Thursday's practice. Hardman was injured in the Chiefs' Week 9 win over the Bucs last Monday night, but he was able to return after getting examined in the locker room. Hardman has been serving as the Chiefs' No. 4 receiver in recent games with JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) still working his way back from injury.
Hunt (quadricep) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. For the second week in a row, Hunt is appearing on Kansas City's injury report with a listed quad issue, but his ability to practice fully Thursday clears up any concern about his availability for Sunday's game against the Broncos. With Isiah Pacheco (fibula) not expected to return from injured reserve until late November at the earliest, Hunt should be in line for at least two more outings as Kansas City's lead back. Though he's averaging a meager 3.7 yards per carry through five contests since signing with the Chiefs, Hunt has been a strong fantasy option on the back of heavy volume (at least 16 touches in each game) and a nose for the end zone (five touchdowns).
Smith-Schuster (hamstring) won't practice Thursday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports. Smith-Schuster didn't practice Wednesday either, clouding his status for Sunday's game against the Broncos. If Smith-Schuster misses a third consecutive contest this weekend, DeAndre Hopkins, Xavier Worthy and Justin Watson would continue to lead the Kansas City receiver corps.
