USC quarterback Cody Kessler finished the regular season with 3,505 yards and 36 touchdowns to only 4 interceptions.
He was 3rd in passing efficiency behind only Heisman winner Marcus Mariota and Ohio State’s J.T. Barrett. At 70.7, he has the nation’s 2nd-best completion percentage. But when it came time for postseason awards, Kessler’s name was rarely mentioned.
You can bet Kessler is looking forward to the stage of the Holiday Bowl against Nebraska (9-3) to show the nation what he’s got.
The game is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern on ESPN.
Rece Davis will be on play-by-play duties with analysis from Jesse Palmer and David Pollack. Samantha Ponder is the sideline reporter.
