The 2015 Pan American Games continue Wednesday with a handful of intriguing events on tap.

Among those include the men’s tennis gold-medal match between Agrentina’s Facundo Bagnis and Colombia’s Nicolas Barrientos, the final day of gymnastics (men’s vault, women’s beam, women’s floor, men’s parallel bars, men’s horizontal bar) and seven medal events in the swimming pool.

It’s an important day, as the medal race between the United States and Canada is quickly heating up. The hosts captured two more golds than the United States on Tuesday, highlighted by 21-year-old University of Georgia student Chantal van Landeghem’s win over 12-time Olympic medalist Natalie Coughlin in the women’s 100-meter freestyle. Canada now has six more golds than the U.S., and four more medals overall.

Gymnastics and the water sports will be the ones to watch, as these two countries have been battling in those events all week long.

ESPN2’s coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET, while CBC will show the Games at 3 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. ET.
