The Bengals head to Oakland to take on the Raiders as both teams kick off the NFL season today. For Raiders fans, it has been a long decade but the future is looking bright with the talented, young team. Bengals fans have tasted the playoffs the past few seasons but long for an extended playoff run this season.
The position to watch for the Raiders is at wide receiver. Oakland drafted Amari Cooper and signed veteran Michael Crabtree to give second-year quarterback Derek Carr some more offensive weapons. It will be interesting to see how Carr is able to utilize his new receivers this early in the season.
As is the case most seasons, eyes will be turned to quarterback Andy Dalton and receiver A.J. Green for the Bengals. The duo has been together a number of years but a good start in Week 1 would help the team build momentum as Cincinnati begins the 2015 season.
